While WHITE SAND BEACH is a full sibling to PINK CATHEDRAL, you would not guess so, other than its size of bloom. A definite ‘front of the border’ plant with its 25” scape, it does catch your eye immediately! A stark, very nearly white bloom is gently ruffled with just the thinnest gold picotee edge surrounding the blooms. Opens well on cold nights, and remains open well into the evening, making this a grand addition to moon gardens. This daylily has always made me think of the beaches along the Gulf, hence the name. A beautiful daylily, fertile both ways for the hybridizer (I use the pollen to get around the scape height) useful for cleaning up colors and adding size. LIMITED $25.00 df
