Buds avg. 15, Early midseason, reblooms Upon looking through some older photos, I realized that this daylily looked exactly the same in every photo, no matter the year, first or last bloom, or the type of camera used. It has been used here quite heavily to clean up petal colors in both blue lines and patterns. Grandparent of HARMONY IN BLUE, and continues to throw very lovely kids. EMBRACE THE PROMSISE has pale white blend petals which are centered with an intense blue-lavender eyezone and surrounded by a substantial matching picotee edge. The eyezone carries dark blue-lavender veining running into the intense green throat. The complicated genetics in this plant’s DNA make it an important parent. Years of careful selection and thought combined to produce such a daylily, allowing any hybridizer to embrace the promise of not only great plant habits and clear colors, but of finally experiencing a blue daylily.
