Nature's Altogether Lovely

NATURE’ S ALTOGETHER LOVELY (2026) Diploid, Bloom 5”, Scape 35”, Branches 4, Buds 16-20, Ext, Early-mid, Reb, Dormant, Fr, Parentage: BLUE SKY BREEZE X ({BOLD AWAKENING x NATURE’S BLUE WAVES} X {TEXAS KALEIDOSCOPE x NATURE’S BLUE WITCHES BREW}). This has been a favorite since its first bloom season! The icy white ruffled petals are centered with an expansive clear near blue eyezone which has a ragged out edge extending well onto the petals. The midribs in the eyezone are icy white, and extend well down into the throat area. The sepals have a very large white halo in the center which backs up the petal eyezone area and really makes it pop! Outer margins on the sepals are the same color as the petal eyezone. And if this wasn’t enough, there is a bluish picotee on the petals. This daylily makes a beautiful clump and is proving to be a wonderful parent! Very hardy and healthy with no pampering, it should do well in just about any climate. Fertile both ways and sets lots of pods for me. $125.00 division

Moonlit Ballerina

MOONLIT BALLERINA (2026) Diploid, 28”scape, 3 branches, 15 buds, 6-1/2” blooms, Mid, RE, SE, COVEN X (SUBSTANTIAL EVIDENCE X PURE VANILLA). This is one of the lovliest diploids I have grown or introduced! It is a graceful and delicate looking plant and bloom, but is proving to be steel strong in harsh conditions, blooming well for a long period. Blooms have icy blue-lavender petals, a slight light lavender halo with white veining blends into cream, then into green throat. Near white midribs on petals have an icy lavender stripe in center. Thin white picotee surrounds heavily ruffled petals which have tiny spikes on the picotee. Sepals are slightly lighter in lavender tone than petals. This daylily has always reminded me of a ballerina dancing, and the color like moonlight on a white dress, thus the name. $ 125.00 division Sold down until 2027 fall.

Psychotic Rainbow

PSYCHOTIC RAINBOW (2026) Diploid, Bloom 3.75”, Scape 25”, Branches 3, Buds 12-15, Early Midseason, SE, Diurnal, Parentage is (GOOD CLEAN BREW x PSYCHEDELICIOUS) X BLUE RIBBONS. This little flower continues to intrigue me, and is much admired by visitors. Although not a big bloom, the pale rose-lavender ruffled petals and large patterned eyezone catch your attention readily. The pattern eyezone has bands of light tan to near white then to near blue to deep purple. Around the eyezone is a mascara band of deep violet. Centered with a vibrant green throat, the eyzone is dramatic and very clear in color. Sepals on this beauty are also lovely in a lighter tone of colors, and are centered with white to set off the petals nicely. A deep violet picotee is found on the petals. This is a beautiful garden addition for the front of the border, and is chock full of breeding potential! ( Just study the parentage!) A good one and is limited in quantity. $100.00 sf 2027 Spring delivery

And the double form is always full with beautiful ruffling on the petal edges. A true treasure in the garden! Fertile both ways, but can be difficult to obtain pollen and a good pistil due to the doubling of 99%. It will set almost every pod when a good pistil is there, and the pollen is hot as well. Seedlings are tall with nice branching and almost all are doubles. A little beauty and one which should sell out quickly! $100.00 SF
